1. What does this warranty cover?
The guarantee only applies to home use and covers material and production defects.
3. Installation and maintenance instructions
Wood is a natural product and each wood veneer is unique. Variation in colour, pattern and texture is a natural part of the look. Wood changes over time when exposed to light. The veneer Gustafs Wild Oak has a natural wood grain and there may be twigs and cracks in the structure of the wood.
Storage, use and installation conditions
For indoor use only and not in wet conditions. Storage, use and installation at
18-50 C ° and 25-60% relative humidity. The humidity of the underlying structure (concrete) should not exceed 15%.
Veneer is a natural product and the slats will therefore vary in color, within the same panel and between different panels. Therefore, always plan your installation by choosing the panels according to their tone and installing randomly to get a beautiful uniform installation. This is especially important for larger areas such as ceilings. For ceiling installation, we recommend that there are at least 500 mm displacement of the end joints in adjacent rows.
Cleaning is performed with a dry mop or vacuum cleaner. On grease, fruit, wine and coffee stains, use synthetic detergent without ammonia. Blood stains are removed using cold water.
4. What is Gustafs doing to fix the problem?
Gustafs will examine the product and determine if it is covered by the warranty. If this is the case, Gustafs will, through its own service operations or authorized service partner, at its own discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with a new similar or comparable product. If the product is covered by the warranty, Gustafs will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, the repairer’s labour costs and any business travel, provided that the product is available for repair at no particular cost. This does not apply to repair work done without permission from Gustafs. Exchanged parts belong to Gustafs. If the product is no longer sold by Gustafs, Gustafs offers a suitable replacement product. It is Gustafs who decides what is a suitable replacement product.
