GUSTAFS WEBSHOP  |  TERMS & CONDITIONS

General Terms and conditions

1. Your purchase at Gustafs

These terms and conditions apply when you as a customer buy goods at Gustafs.com in Sweden and receive goods delivered to you within the European Union. Remember to always save your proof of purchase in connection with your purchase. VAT according to current law is included in the product price. We reserve the right to make printing errors on gustafs.com. We also reserve the right that products shown in print and on gustafs.com may be excluded from the range and that products may run out.

2. Guarantees

To feel safe as a customer with your purchase, Gustaf provides a guarantee for certain products. When you buy a product that is covered by the warranty, you get information about the warranty terms at the time of purchase. The warranty terms state how long the warranty period is, as well as what other terms apply to the warranty. Within the warranty period, costs for repairing defects in the product are reimbursed, such as repairs, spare parts, work and travel, provided that the product is available for repair without special costs. You can read more about our guarantees at Warranty

3. Delivery

At the checkout on gustafs.com, you can see which delivery options are available for your postal address.

Upon delivery, payment must be received by Gustaf no later than the date stated on your order confirmation. Upon delivery, you as a customer must present identification.

The carrier will contact you by phone before they arrive at your address. You as a customer are responsible for checking your order confirmation so that our contact information for you is correct before delivery. In the event of a delivery delay, Gustafs will notify you. When delivering to addresses with road barriers, you as a customer are responsible for ensuring that the barrier key is available. Extra transport days may be added upon delivery to an island. For more information, please contact Gustafs Customer Service. If you want to cancel your paid order, you must do so before you have received your order. If service action in the form of packing your order or delivery has been started, the cost of this service will be charged, even if you cancel your order. Please note that when canceling orders that contain customized goods, a handling cost of 50% of the product’s product value will also be charged.

It is important that you prepare for Gustafs delivery.

Your responsibility as a customer is to:

  • Prepare a clear road to your home/premises so that the goods can easily be left at a specified place
  • Ensure that the delivery is possible without risk of damaging goods, person or your property.
  • Ensure that you can receive the delivery when it arrives. Even if you let someone else receive your delivery, you are still responsible for fulfilling the conditions in this document because you are the one who entered into the agreement.
  • Upon delivery, you as a customer must present identification.

Gustafs reserves the right to assess whether delivery can take place without risk of damage to person, goods or property. If delivery cannot be carried out due to obstacles, Gustaf will return the delivery. For a new delivery, you will be charged SEK 750 (or amount corresponding to your original shipping cost) in addition to the original shipping cost. Upon delivery, no later than 7 days after you have received the goods, check that you have received the right products and the right number and that the products are intact. If you discover damage to a product, incorrect product or incorrect number of products, you should contact Gustafs Customer Service as soon as possible.

Postal parcels

When your order has arrived at the chosen agent, an SMS or a notice will be sent to you. If you choose not to pick up your package, the shipping cost will not be refunded to you.

Limitation of liability

In the event of government action or omission, new legislation, labour law conflict, war or danger of war, major disturbance of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, natural disaster, accidents, or other circumstances beyond Gustafs control and which Gustafs could not reasonably overcome or anticipate, Gustafs has the right to waive its obligations under this agreement. In such an event, Gustafs is not liable for damages in the event of damage that you have had.

4. Return of goods

You have a right of withdrawal for 14 days when you shop at gustafs.com – applies to private consumers. When ordering by phone or via the internet, you as a customer have a right of withdrawal for 14 days according to law. The time is calculated from the day you received the item. To be able to exercise the right of withdrawal, you need to be able to show that you have regretted within this time period and notified Gustafs of this. Request a case number / receipt / return shipping note if you leave the item directly to Gustafs or carrier. Gustafs needs to register your use of the right of withdrawal before the return can be returned, it is therefore not possible to return goods directly at the time of delivery. Refund of the returned item value takes place as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from the time the item has been returned or from the day when you show that you have returned the item. Upon return of order or part of order, delivery cost is not refunded. Use Gustafs Regret Form. The form contains more information about the right of withdrawal.

Complaint

In the event of a complaint, the product must always be returned to Gustafs unless otherwise agreed. In cases where you cannot arrange the return yourself, contact Gustafs Customer service and we will help you.

If you want to review your case with an impartial actor, you can turn to the consumer counselor in your municipality. If Gustafs has objected to your claim, you as a consumer may have the right to have the dispute tried online for cross-border purchases at the European Commission’s platform for alternative dispute resolution: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Gustafs kommer att medverka i ett eventuellt tvistlösningsförfarande. För alternativ tvistlösning vid gränsöverskridande köp finns även EU-kommissionens plattform http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. More information is also available at Consumer Europe, part of the Swedish Consumer Agency.

Returns

You must return your order as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase or if you have discovered that there is something wrong with the item. Remember to pack the product well as you are responsible for the transport to us. You can advantageously reuse the packaging from Gustafs.

Refund of the value of the goods to you upon return takes place in the same way as the payment at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. You can try the product but not use it. If the product has been used or damaged during the return due to a defect in the packaging, the write-down will be deducted from your refund.

In the event of uncollected shipments, you as a customer are responsible for the return shipping cost. If you want to return your purchase or if you have not collected your delivery, Gustafs will charge you for the return shipping, this also applies to postal packages. Even when exercising the right of withdrawal, you as a customer are responsible for the return shipping cost. When canceling orders with customized goods, a return shipping cost will be added.
