Lamellow Spa acoustic panels

For wall and and ceiling claddings indoors in ex. spa, wetrooms or orangeries as well as outdoor installations placed under a roof. The panel consists of strong acoustic felt lined with linear ribs veneered with real wood. Lamellow Spa can withstand direct water splashes and can be placed in rooms with relative humidity up to 100%. Easy to install on both wall and ceiling. The panels are installed ventilated with overlapping and completely hidden joints.

INSTALLATION

Quick and easy installation

Indoor wall & ceiling

Install, directly on wall or ceiling. The panels can be glued, screwed or stapled to the substrate with a minimum of 15 attachment points per panel. Choose mounting method based on wall material and location.

The panels can be installed in saunas but should however not be placed on surfaces where you might touch them as the density of the ribs is very high and there is a risk of burning.

The panels must be mounted with a minimum of 5 mm to other surface layers such as floors, adjacent walls and ceilings. The acoustic blanket acts as an air gap on the back of the panel.

To achieve absorption class D (absorbent), install directly on the wall or ceiling.

To achieve absorption class A (extremely absorbent), first line the wall with 45 mm bars, 600 mm cc, and place 45 mm thick mineral wool behind the panels.

Outdoors under a roof

When installing outdoors under a roof. The panels must not be exposed to constant wet or direct sunlight, as color changes in the natural wood can then occur.

The panel ribs must have a minimum distance of 5 mm to other surface layers on all edges of the panel, the acoustic blanket acts as an air gap towards the back.

Absorption class D is achieved when the panel is installed directly in the wall or ceiling.

FRAMING PROFILE

Framing profile and vertical splicing

Lamellow Spa framing profiles for perfect edges in corners or as a nice finish on the panel wall. The framingprofile can be used on the vertical sides of the panel and at the top of the panel. The framingprofiles give a nice finish to your wall. Used together with splicing felt on the side of the panel that does not have a protruding felt. The edge profile is made of the same material as the ribs and with matching veneers.

Panel structure

TECHNICALLY IMPROVED VENEER

The ribs are covered with a real wood veneer and the surface is then treated with synthetic resin and an outer PVDF film that protects against moisture and temperature changes. The PVDF exterior also protects the ribs from organic material and reduces the accumulation of dust and dirt from air pollutants and makes the product maintenance-free.

The natural wood used allows the ribs to change color if they are exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.

CORE

Each rib consists of a high density composite core (27 mm x 10 mm). The core effectively resists moisture up to 100% relative humidity and enables the ribs to withstand large temperature variations from -40 ° C to + 100 ° C. The top of the ribs are then covered with natural wood veneer.

ACOUSTIC FELT

The ribs are attached to a 9mm thick acoustic felt which is made from a minimum of 50% post consumer recycled PET bottles. The felt is Oeko-Tex certified.
The felt is available in three shades of gray, the lightest is called Wool Gray, the medium gray is called Dark Gray and the darkest is called Anthracite.
